See the case: Every expense, booked to its job

This is a demo we built; it is not yet running with a client. Open the sheet to see how it would work.

Sheet 08 of 09 · ConstructionMexico

Every expense, booked to its job

A demo to see overruns before, not after.

The problem

Typing each invoice into Excel by hand takes about 5 minutes per expense, and overruns show up late.

The solution

With a photo of the invoice, the system extracts the data, assigns it to the job and warns before the budget is exceeded.

5 minof data entry that would be removed for every invoice or expense (estimate)
01 · How does it work?
THENBY HAND
  1. 01Receipt in a pocket
  2. 02Typed into Excel days later
  3. 03Overrun caught late
NOWAUTOMATED
  1. 01Photo of the invoice
  2. 02Data extracted and sorted
  3. 03Warning before the overrun
02 · What changes
One photo per invoiceWarning before the overrun
To be clear

This is a demo: it is not based on a real builder and does not run with one. The 5 minutes per invoice are an estimate of data-entry time; avoided overruns have not been measured.
