See the case: Minutes that write themselves
This is a tool we use in our own meetings. Open the sheet to see how it works.
Minutes that write themselves
The meeting ends, everyone agrees, and by Friday nobody remembers who owns what. Memo does.
Minutes were written by hand, late or never, and each meeting’s commitments got lost across projects.
Memo takes the recording, transcribes it with names, writes shareable minutes and turns action items into tasks in our project tool, on each client’s card.
- 01Take notes while talking
- 02Write the minutes later, if there’s time
- 03Copy agreements into each project by hand
- 01The meeting is recorded, with everyone’s permission
- 02Memo transcribes and recognizes who speaks
- 03Minutes, analysis and transcript in the meeting folder
- 04Action items become tasks
- Before sharing, it looks for amounts and prices
- If it finds any, it marks the minutes as a draft and lists what it found
- The analysis is for our team; the minutes are what gets shared
If a recording has no conversation, it isn’t processed; if something fails, we get an alert.
Each meeting lands in its own folder: the minutes as a shareable document, the internal analysis, the transcript with names and the verbatim transcript. Action items show up as tasks in our project tool, on that client’s card.
Simplified screen. Counters are real; the rows are illustrative and show no clients.
- Jan 2026First version: one analysis per meeting
- Aug 19Redesign: shareable minutes, transcript with names and tasks
- Aug 25First real meeting on the new version
- Aug 25–Oct 619 sets of minutes from working meetings
If you allow it, we record the discovery call and send you the minutes Memo writes, so you see it work on your own meeting. For your team, Memo can carry your company’s brand; today it drops action items into our project tool, and sending them to yours requires adapting it.
- We only record a meeting if everyone in it agrees.
- It’s a tool we use ourselves; no client runs it yet.
- Minutes are reviewed before sending: if they include amounts, they come out marked as a draft.
- The 75 are analyses and minutes, not hours saved: we haven’t measured that.
- It needs a recording where the conversation can be heard.
